When the large lot at 3030 Chain Bridge Road NW went under contract in 2012, the plan was to subdivide the lot and building several homes. However, plans clearly changed at some point as a massive 14,750 square-foot estate at the address hit the market yesterday for $20 million, making it the most expensive home for sale within the DC borders.
