Situated at the location of the former McMillan Sand Filtration Site along North Capitol Street, Reservoir District will be a vibrant new mixed-use neighborhood designed to bring new life to a national treasure. The 25-acre site will include new townhomes, apartments, neighborhood retail and grocery store, a world-class center for healthcare and research, public community center with pool, six acres of open park space, as well as beautifully preserved historic structures such as sand filtration silos and regulator buildings and a restored tree-lined path along the perimeter of the site. The site's parcels 1 and 3, planned to be developed by Trammell Crow, are in flux but could become anything from offices to residential.
