Transwestern Development has plans to turn the 12-story office building, once the headquarters of MCI Communications Corp., into a new 13-story residential building. The project will bring 188 market-rate units and 21 affordable units to the corridor, along with roughly 4,600 square feet of ground-floor retail and a reconfigured penthouse level with a resident lounge, fitness center, sauna, coworking space, and outdoor terrace. WDG Architecture designed the conversion which is looking to deliver in spring 2028.
