A report out earlier this year found that 63% of homebuyers that made an offer on a home for sale in the latter part of 2020 did so without seeing the home first.
Given how fast the housing market is moving these days and how easy it is to view homes for sale on the internet, perhaps this statistic shouldn't come as a surprise. On the other hand, buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions that people will make in life, so seeing the product in person prior to purchase seems fairly important.
