Whiskey Island
For $3 million, a potential homebuyer can purchase Whiskey Island, one of the Thousand Islands located in one of the largest stretches of freshwater in North America.
Whiskey Island sits on the southwestern end of the Thousand Islands in New York, but is just a few minutes from the Canadian border. The island was at one time a lookout point for smugglers bringing in alcohol in from Canada during Prohibition.

The 3.1-acre island includes a 4,000 square-foot, eight-bedroom lodge, as well as a two-bedroom guest house. There is also a boathouse with two slips and a swim deck.
