Where Have Obama Staffers Settled?: Figure 1

The Washingtonian Open House blog recently spilled the beans on where certain White House staffers have settled in the DC area.

Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and his wife Jean recently purchased a five-bedroom Chevy Chase colonial for $1.6 million. See photo of home at right.

Louis E. Caldera, the former director of the White House Military office who resigned his job after the unfortunate Air Force One flyover of Manhattan a few months ago, recently bought a six-bedroom, five-bath colonial in Bethesda for $1.2 million.

Antony Blinken, a national security adviser on Vice President Biden’s staff, and his wife recently bought a five-bedroom Victorian rowhouse on Q Street in Georgetown for $2.1 million. The house has pine floors, five fireplaces, and a gourmet kitchen, according to Washingtonian.
