Two of Everything in a Trinidad Duplex
This duplex was created four years ago out of a semi-detached rowhouse and has a few options for outdoor space. Past the shared front porch, the open-concept interior has a living area and dining area on either side of the front door, the latter beside a nook with open shelves. The kitchen has a breakfast bar island and white herringbone tile backsplash, and the bedroom on the main level has double exposure and a sliding glass door out to a deck with steps down to the secured parking pad. The bathroom on the main level has grey marble honeycomb tile floors, a double sink, and large subway tile surrounding a window on the walls of the shower/tub. Upstairs, the owner's bedroom also has double exposure and sliding glass door access to a juliet balcony, along with an en-suite bath with tiled, glass-enclosed shower stall.

A Bungalow with an Abundant Backyard
In Silver Spring, a few blocks from two parks and Sligo Creek, this bungalow has a front porch with a ceiling fan and bench swing. Upon entry, there is a deep living/dining room, and the bright kitchen has open cubbies above white cabinetry, a white square tile backsplash, and quartz countertops. There is also a bedroom on the main level and a bathroom where the sinktop matches the mirror and window frames. Another three bedrooms are upstairs; the second bathroom is on the carpeted lower level. The house also has a large covered wraparound rear deck overlooking the spacious fenced-in backyard.

An Eye-Catching Kalorama Co-Op
This generous co-op is full of intriguing architectural details. The hall houses an ornately-carved, floor-to-ceiling walk-in confessional closet, with three wooden archtop doors. A double-sided breakfast bar peninsula leads into the kitchen, which has cherry-red subway tile backsplash and an exposed brick corner column. Both of the bedrooms are comparably-sized and have stained-glass clerestory windows; the first also has dual-access, including from a pair of wooden french doors. The bathroom has a stained-glass transom above the door, a set of framed recessed shelving, and a clawfoot bathtub. While the monthly fees are on the higher side for this pet-friendly building, the listing price for the unit is $34,820 lower for buyers who would finance the purchase.
