This spring, UrbanTurf reported on the second location of WeWork’s shared-living concept, a WeLive located in Crystal City.
Since then, the original WeLive on Wall Street in Manhattan has begun offering short-term stays as an option. The WeLive concept is already well-suited for hotel-like stays in conjunction with minimum leases of thirty days, as the units are fully-furnished and there are an abundance of communal amenities in addition to regular cleaning services.

In this way, the WeLive experience could give Airbnb some competition — especially now that they are allowing people to stay at the community for a few days rather than committing to a multi-month “membership”. A WeLive representative told UrbanTurf that the Crystal City location is not offering short-term stays of this nature at this time.
