Innovative Marketing on Harvard Hill
Two weeks ago, we wrote about an innovative technique that a real estate agent was using to market a property he had coming on the market. 1759 Harvard Street NW is in a relatively raw state, so listing agent Ed Schneider gathered photos of successful renovations from the same block and put them into a large-scale packet of living room and kitchen photos for potential owners to flip through. It seems to have worked. The open houses attracted 140 people and the home went under contract for above its asking price a week after it was listed.

- Price: $615,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: Two
- Year Built: 1943

Condo on the Corner of DC’s Newly Famous Street
This one-bedroom condo on Kalorama’s newly famous sinkhole street attracted a buyer so quickly that the listing agent canceled the open house on Sunday. The listing takes up one floor of a stately Victorian, and the rounded corner of the building creates a round living room area with plenty of windows.
- Address: 1938 Biltmore Street NW, #3 (map)
- Price: $439,000
- Bedrooms: One
- Bathrooms: 1.5
- Square Footage: 921
- HOA Fees: $391/month
- Days on Market: 3
