Tuesday's Deal of the Week

We are aware that $699,000 is hardly considered a deal to most people when you are talking about the price of a home. However, when that price tag is attached to a four-bedroom property in Chevy Chase DC, a “deal” starts to take on a different meaning. This New England-style colonial has been renovated (a few things still need to be updated) and offers a lot of space for the money. There is a large living room with a fireplace, a sun-filled family room, a kitchen with a breakfast bar that leads out to a deck, and three good-sized bedrooms on the second floor. The listing price is well below the average for a home this size in Chevy Chase. For the full listing, click here.

Here are some monthly payment calculations based on a 15 percent down payment and a 30-year fixed rate mortgage at 5.25%.
