Earlier this week, The Washington Post reported that Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump are house hunting again in DC. The couple is looking for a five- or six-bedroom house that is more private than their current Kalorama rental, and have reportedly been touring houses for sale in neighborhoods like Massachusetts Avenue Heights. Based on that criteria, UrbanTurf has rounded up three options that may work for the Oval Office-adjacent family.
Between a Park and Expansive Lawn Space
This six-bedroom Wesley Heights house sits on over half an acre directly across from Battery Kemble Park, putting it in a much more secluded location than the family's current residence. A private, shubbery-lined driveway leads directly up to the front door. The house includes a library, music room, exercise room and full guest suite. In the backyard, a rear terrace runs the length of the house along the second floor, above a loggia overlooking a pool. The expansive lawn has a partial stone wall along the side yard.

A Secret Garden Near Normanstone Park
This Tudor-style house is located in DC's lesser-known Woodland Normanstone neighborhood off Cleveland Avenue. A flagstone driveway pulls up to a garage next to a path that leads up to the front door. The rear deck overlooks a backyard pool and Normanstone Park. The lower level has a family room, wine cellar, in-law suite, and a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. The lower level also walks out onto a more secluded area of the backyard, with an elevated pergola and a small separate patio surrounded by shrubs and buffered by stone steps.
Address: 2718 32nd Street NW (map)
Price: $5,995,000
Bedrooms: Five
Bathrooms: 8.5
Square Feet: 7,500
Listing Agent: Margot Wilson, Washington Fine Properties
Less Privacy, More Space
Located about a mile north of the option above, this house is the largest of the three homes featured but also the least-private, lacking any additional buffers beyond its 11,235 square-foot lot. A private driveway separates the sidewalk from the two-car attached garage and the front door. The interior layout is very dynamic, with the living room and dining room stepping down into a skylit breezeway that has sets of French doors leading to the rear patio, which is surrounded by mature trees. On the second level, the landing steps up into the master suite, which has two bathrooms. The lower level has an in-law suite with wine cellar.
Address: 2845 McGill Terrace NW (map)
Price: $4,995,000
Bedrooms: Five
Bathrooms: 5.5
Square Feet: 8,890
Listing Agents: Jonathan Taylor, Maxwell Rabin, TTR Sotheby's
