This Week's Find is a 3,600 square-foot home in a private neighborhood in Kent.
Built in the 1930s, the house was the original estate of a much larger property that was later subdivided to create the current community, containing six houses that share a tennis court and a swimming pool.
The house lies at the end of a long driveway and features the classic architecture typical of the French provincial style, with stonework, leaded windows, and a turret that creates a winding staircase and circular landings on each floor.
The interior has been updated over the years, and those updates are evident in the kitchen where the cooktops are in a nook with double exposure alongside the main preparation area with breakfast bar. However, the home's original details are still prevalent, with arched doorways and exposed ceiling beams in many of the living areas.
The master bedroom is on the first floor and also has horizontal beams striping the ceiling, painted white to brighten the room.
The slate-tiled basement contains a stone fireplace, wet bar, bedroom and 1.5 baths and separate exit into the backyard, which is surrounded by hedges and features a patio area.
The house also includes a two-car garage. More details and images are below.
