Last Friday, we asked readers to guess the price of a two-bedroom loft in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Here is a brief description of the property for those that missed the post:
"The two-bedroom, two-bath loft measures out at approximately 2,700 square feet, and with 13-foot ceilings and almost 60-feet of windows, anyone that has dreamed of living in a loft in New York City will fulfill that dream if they buy this property. The home is in need of a few improvements, particularly something that will provide more natural light to the bedrooms."
Take a look:
We warned you that any guess south of $1 million would be "silly" and everyone heeded that warning. So how much would you have to plunk down for this palatial pad? The price: $2.2 million. Here is the listing.
The guesses ranged from a low of $1.5 million to a high of $3.2 million. Our winner this week, with a guess of $2.099 million, goes by Jag and is the first UrbanTurf reader to be awarded the inaugural UrbanTurf t-shirt.
