The Obama's Next Neighborhood: Figure 1
Homes on S Street in Kalorama

The first family is known for getting out into the District and the surrounding suburbs, and earlier this year, it was revealed that they plan on staying in town for a few years after the President’s term ends while younger daughter Sasha finishes up high school.

Embassy Row and Kalorama were two areas in the running for the relocation, and now the National Journal is reporting that the first family has decided to rent a house in Kalorama after they vacate the White House in January.

It is not yet known which home the family will lease, although Ben Pershing shares that there are a couple suitable homes in the neighborhood for rent.
