The Lacey Lowers Prices on Certain Units

There have been a few more price reductions at The Lacey, the new 26-unit development at Florida Avenue and 11th NW (map) in the U Street Corridor. The prices on three units — 102, 105, and 106 — have come down $20,000 each since last month. It also looks like two units — 205 and 303 — have gone under contract in that time. Those units were two of the most affordable in the building, which just reinforces the trend seen everywhere: tight credit and a rough economy mean that the lower end is selling at a much higher velocity than the higher end.
