Hotels across the world are always pulling out the stops to attract guests. You may remember this underwater hotel room off the coast of Sri Lanka that we featured a few months back.

Well, the good folks over at Curbed (who just launched their national edition today) have found, in our opinion, the craziest hotel accomodations yet.

Costa Rica’s Hotel Costa Verde has taken a decommissioned 727 airplane and converted it into a suite for its guests. The plane was brought piece by piece from San Jose and reconstructed at the hotel site.

As Curbed notes, “the interior bears little resemblance to the original” as it now includes a galley, dining area, and miniature media room. The Boeing 727 fuselage suite is available for between $400 and $500 a day.

Frankly, we wouldn’t be able to sleep in this suite for a variety or reasons. Could you?
