Columbia Heights row houses
This Saturday, Green DC Realty is hosting two commitment-free tours to check out condos on the market in Columbia Heights.
Each tour — one starting at 11am and one at 1pm — will feature a handful of condos that recently hit the market in the neighborhood between Petworth and the U Street Corridor, and will allow attendees to just relax and ask questions about listings in the area.
The transformation that the northwest DC neighborhood of Columbia Heights has gone through over the past decade — from commercial dead zone to a district with busy stores and a dense, diverse throng of pedestrians — has been well documented, and the area has consequently become a popular place for young home buyers to start their search.
Condos featured on this week’s tour include this spacious one-bedroom condo, as well as a large two-bedroom that has ten-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and has been updated with an in-unit audio system and iPod hook-up. Here is the full list of condos that will be visited on the tour. (Any properties under contract will be substituted on the day of the tour with an active listing.)
“The goal is to provide folks on the tour an easy, valuable way to get to know the real estate of a neighborhood but without the usual pressure to buy a home,” Green DC Realty’s Mike Kiefer said.
For more details about the tours and to register, see below.
If you can’t make it this Saturday, join Green DC Realty next weekend for a tour of condos along 16th Street between Dupont Circle and Logan Circle. Register here.
