New residences are planned for a rather unexpected location in Logan Circle.
Managing Principal for Inscape Studio Greg Kearley presented plans to the ANC 2F Community Development Committee recently for a partial four-story addition plus basement space at 1412 Q Street NW (map), home to the bicycle store The Bike Rack.

The addition would include six residential units plus a green roof and expand the commercial space for The Bike Rack.
Kearley told the committee that the design and massing for the addition are conceptual at this point due to discussions with the Historic Preservation Office and the applicant’s desire to consider ANC 2F’s input. The committee decided not to make a recommendation on the project as the applicant agreed to talk with the neighbors about the design and further revise the plans for the addition.
