Rahm Emanuel to Renter: Please Let Me Come Home

The Washington Post’s Reliable Source reported recently that despite polite requests, Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel has not had success in getting the person renting his Chicago home to move out.
If you have not been following the news recently, then this may seem like irrelevant information. However, speculation has been rampant of late that Emanuel will be leaving his position soon to run for mayor of Chicago.
From The Post:
The tenant renting the White House chief of staff’s North Side home refuses to leave until next summer — despite polite pleas from Rahmbo, we’re told. Real estate developer Robert Halpin moved in a year ago and extended his lease on Sept. 1 — just six days before Richard Daley’s surprise announcement that he was not seeking another term.
Apparently Rahm’s offer of cash did not sway Halpin to move out.
