Since opening for sale in Potomac Yard, the award-winning condominium Dylan has become a hotspot for high-tech buyers, empty nesters, millennials and families alike, all looking to move to one of the most innovative districts in the DC area.
Dylan is a collection of 129 beautifully-designed condominium residences, and is the recipient of the 2022 Best of Alexandria Awards for Condominium Complex and 2022 Delta Associates Best Sales Pace Metro Washington Condominium Community. The community is now 70% sold and still has a range of residences for sale, including a number of generous floorplans designed by renowned architect Chris Lessard. Dylan is set to deliver in 2023.
For Dylan, Lessard reconfigured what was a standard two-bedroom plan and created a lavish one-bedroom and den residence with two baths, expanded entertainment spaces, an open European kitchen, a powder room and a generous primary bath and closet configuration. Similarly, the one-bedroom plans have been expanded to include dens and one-and-a-half bathrooms. And finally, some larger two bedroom and den plans have been upgraded to feature two walk-in closets in the primary suite.
Other available residences at Dylan include one bedroom, one-and-a-half bath and dens; two bedroom and two-and-a-half baths; and two bedroom and dens.
Finishes at Dylan are modern and minimalist. Residences include hardwood flooring and large windows, and the chef-inspired kitchens will have top-of-the-line Bosch appliances with wood paneling, Calacatta quartz countertops and custom Italian cabinetry. Spa-inspired bathrooms feature recessed lighting, LED lighted mirrors, frameless glass walk-in showers and chrome fixtures.
Amenities at Dylan include onsite concierge services and a full-time onsite manager; a maker’s space (a collaborative workspace for hands on projects); a fitness center and yoga room; a rooftop club room and outdoor terraces equipped with grills and boasting beautiful views; a pet spa; and bike storage. The property also features a lushly landscaped one-and-a-half acre courtyard.
Dylan has a central Potomac Yard location—between National Landing, Old Town Alexandria and Del Ray—and is directly across from the future Potomac Yard Metro Station and Potomac Yard Park, where residents can enjoy interactive water parks, two large playgrounds, an events area, ballfields, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, walking and bike trails, and more. It’s a community that is flourishing around some of the most transformational new developments coming to the DC region, including Amazon's striking two-tower headquarters (set to debut in 2023) and the new Virginia Tech Innovation Campus (arriving in 2024).
Residences at Dylan start in the $600,000s and sales are by The Mayhood Company. The Dylan sales gallery—located at 2316 Richmond Highway in Alexandria—and a fully furnished one-bedroom model unit is open and available for touring by appointment.
