Venue, a new condominium and townhome community in Old Town North, is now under construction and set to debut later this year with the best views and most spectacular river-side location in northern Virginia. The development includes 41 all-brick townhomes and a 119-residence, glass-clad condominium tower that will become one of the neighborhood’s tallest buildings.
Buyers are already flocking to the property: with sales launched late last year, Venue is over 50 percent sold.
Venue's condominium tower features a variety of floor plans ranging from one-bedroom and one-bedroom and den residences all the way up to 2,300-square-foot three-bedroom and den residences. It is a full-service building with a private health club; private storage space; a bike room; a pet spa; and a beautiful rooftop—featuring an indoor sky lounge and outdoor grilling stations, TVs, firepits and greenspace—with views from DC to the National Harbor. Each residence also comes with a garage parking space.
Owners at Venue, which inherited its 13-story height allowance from the property’s former Crowne Plaza Hotel, can also take full advantage of the building’s views privately. Most homes have balconies and all of the homes feature floor-to-ceiling windows, affording unobstructed views of the Potomac River, Northern Virginia, Washington DC and the monuments along the National Mall.
Venue’s townhomes feature eight different floor plans and range from 2,300 to 4,400 square feet. All include a minimum of three bedrooms with a den and three-and-a-half-baths, as well as two-car garages and large private rooftop terraces (outfitted with electrical, plumbing and gas lines for outdoor entertaining). A few of the homes also include elevators.
Venue is in an ideal Old Town, Alexandria location, separated from the Potomac River only by the Mount Vernon Trail and steps from dozens of restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. Both Harris Teeter and Trader Joe’s are within walking distance and the property is surrounded by green spaces, waterfront activities and historic 18th century architecture.
Venue’s townhomes will deliver this fall and the condominium will deliver in winter 2021. Condominium pricing ranges from $550,000 to $2.8M and townhome pricing ranges from $1.3 to $2.7M.
Prospective buyers can book private appointments to visit the Venue sales office to see a to-scale architectural model of the development or peruse a fully finished and fully furnished condominium model.
