Add another office-to-residential conversion to the growing list on the boards around DC.
Varsity Investment Group had filed plans with the Old Georgetown Board to convert 1101 30th Street NW (map) into a new residential building that would bring hundreds of new apartments to the neighborhood.
The conversion would include a full interior renovation of the office building into residential units, as well as a two-story addition plus penthouse expansion. Designed by Soto Architecture, the new building would have multiple outdoor spaces including balconies and roof decks.
UrbanTurf reached out to Varsity for comment on the development but did not immediately hear back.
The new development joins a number of other conversions planned in the neighborhood, including a 135-unit conversion at the Flour Mill and a 30-unit conversion along K Street.
