A new and improved version of CondoAuthority.com has launched.
The local condominium search website now not only provides detailed information on condo listings in the DC area, it has also been revamped and updated to serve as a brokerage service for buyers and sellers in the Metro area.
Even with the new features, the main function of the website (now a division of McWilliams|Ballard), remains the ability to search for condo projects in the DC area by looking at information such as property address, home types, current sales status and year built.
“We have re-worked the way properties are categorized, searched and filtered, allowing for a much more user-friendly format,” M|B Director of Marketing Chris Masters told UrbanTurf. “You can narrow your search from a specific quadrant, say NW, down to a particular neighborhood, say Mount Vernon Triangle, then look at specific buildings, unit types and price ranges in that area.”
Masters noted that users will also be able to physically look at projects via its map view and search for available units using a custom feed directly from the MLS. There are currently 692 properties on the site, with information including address, property type (hi-rise, mid-rise, garden), unit types, price points, proximity to Metro, and at least one photo.
In addition to taking photos of the exterior, interiors, and common areas for each of the developments, the site is constantly being updated to ensure that information for each development (number of units left, pricing, etc.) is as accurate as possible.
