The design for the new Uber headquarters.
On Monday, UrbanTurf reported on the new Fannie Mae headquarters that will replace The Washington Post offices on 15th Street NW.
SHoP Architects is the lead architecture firm for the new headquarters and it appears they are taking some design cues from an office they designed for a little start-up out in San Francisco.
While there are differences, the west coast headquarters for Uber, designed by SHoP, looks quite similar to the new Fannie Mae offices. The massing, pedestrian bridges, and abundance of glass are key elements in both projects, although the Uber offices look like they will be more transparent.
