On Tuesday night, UrbanTurf attended the opening of VeraCruz, a new art gallery above Duffy’s Irish Pub at 2106 Vermont Avenue NW (map) that will present the work of street artists from around DC. The gallery is the brainchild of Ora Nwabueze and its management includes Peter Chang of No Kings Collective and Justin Young of ReadySetDC. The work displayed on Tuesday night was from artist Brandon Hill of the Lamont Bishop Gallery on 9th Street. Check it out.
