Virginia is still at the top of the list when it comes to homebuyer demand in the DC region.
The Bright T3 Home Demand Index, a new tool that inputs housing market data points to deliver a score that provides a sense of the homebuying demand in certain areas, concluded that the zip codes with the highest demand in March largely were located in Virginia.

Of the ten zip codes with the highest T3 index score, which incorporates metrics like showing requests and appointments, home searches and views, and home sales, nine are located in Virginia.
Leading the way are 22041, home to sections of Bailey's Crossroads and Lake Barcroft, and 22203, home to Arlington neighborhoods including Ballston Quarter. Following closely behind are the Alexandria zip codes of 22302 and 22303 and the Falls Church zip code of 22044.
