No Massive Wine Rooms: Images From the 2011 Logan Circle House Tour

Yesterday, UrbanTurf staff hit the annual Logan Circle House tour. There were a number of noteworthy homes on this year’s tour, however none with wine rooms as big as this.
Below are photos of a few of the homes that we visited including:
- The William Louis Guest House at 1309 R Street NW and The H.H. Bates Guest House at 1313 R Street NW — These two properties are co-owned and separated by what might as well be an endangered species in the Logan Circle real estate world — a vacant lot. There is an outdoor path that runs through the vacant lot connecting the two homes and a cool-looking wood deck off the back of the H.H. Bates house.
- 1722 13th Street NW — This 1881 house on a double corner lot has a number of noteworthy aspects, including a kitchen with an enormous island, perhaps the best situated home office in DC and a third floor that functions solely as a master bedroom suite. This home also has a wine cellar, just not as impressive as the one we saw last year.
