More multifamily is in the works for Arlington, sans the construction.
The Sunburst Hospitality Corporation has applied to convert the nine-story Clarion Collection Hotel Arlington Court Suites at 1200 N Courthouse Road (map) into a residential building. The 187 hotel rooms would be replaced with 180 apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms with dens.

The exterior of the building would look virtually the same, offering some units balcony and terrace access. Amenities will include a below-grade co-working lounge, conference rooms and gym, and a ground-floor artist/multipurpose studio.
There would also be 171 garage parking spaces, an increase from the existing 153. ADG+G is the architect.
