Get your bidding placard out. This Friday, about 100 homes in the DC area will be sold during an auction at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner.
The auction is being run by Hudson & Marshall, a family-run property auction business. Homes in Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland will be auctioned off on Friday, but if you are feeling antsy, you can bid on properties ahead of time by going to the Hudson & Marshall website. Most of the DC properties are in the Northeast and Southeast quadrants of the city.
Prospective buyers will have to make a $2,500 deposit (cash or certified check) for every winning property bid they make. A five percent buyer’s premium will also be added to final price.
