After selling the last of its luxury condo units, the developers behind the Wormley School in Georgetown will now start the project’s townhouse phase.
DCmud reported today that Encore Development has started construction on six four-level townhouses at 3325-3329 Prospect Street NW (map). The homes will range in size from 4,800 to 5,200 square feet and be completed by next summer. The massive properties have the lofty price tags that one would expect of Georgetown: prices range from $3.95 to $4.95 million.

Wormley Row
A description of the homes from DCmud:
The “finely-crafted, Victorian-style luxury townhouses with details of quintessential Georgetown originals” (according to the listing) are designed by Cunningham & Quill Architects. The end unit will include four bedrooms and bathrooms, four fireplaces, formal living room and dining room, library, and a grand kitchen that opens into a family room. The master suite features a private terrace, and the third floor operates as a two story conservatory. That’s not all, also comprised in the property is an in house elevator and relaxing private garden.
Sales of the condos at Wormley Row started in April 2007, but the last two years have not been kind to the uber-high end luxury condo market, and Wormley Row suffered from a slow sales pace. However, the project recently sold its last unit, providing the impetus to move forward with the townhouse phase of the project.
