One of the larger detached homes in Georgetown, and the former digs of George Stephanopoulos, has hit the market for just shy of $7 million. 

1315 31st Street NW is one of just two homes on the 1300 block of 31st Street in Georgetown. The six-bedroom spreads out over 7,000 square feet, affording it large-scale entertaining spaces. The home is listed with Patrick Chauvin and Brad House of Compass.

George Stephanopoulos and wife Ali Wentworth were the previous owners of the home, purchasing it back in 2006.  Just prior to Stephanopoulos starting as anchor on Good Morning America in 2010, the couple sold the home for $5.45 million.
