From One House to 11 Units: A New Missing Middle Project in Brentwood

A new missing middle development is on the boards just off Rhode Island Avenue NE in DC's Brentwood neighborhood.
Core Investments has filed a zoning application to replace the detached house at 2401 12th Street NE (map) with a three-story building delivering 11 units. R. Michael Cross Design Group is the project architect. The units will be one- and two-bedroom residences.

The new development will join a number of other missing middle projects in the works around the city, including a 17-unit project in Palisades and a new townhouse development off Georgia Avenue.
A zoning hearing has not yet been scheduled.
