Another home in the DC area with AOL ties has hit the market.
Former AOL and IBM executive Michael M. Connors has listed his nearly 7,000 square-foot Georgetown residence at 3147 P Street NW (map) for $7.495 million.
While slightly less expansive and expensive than the other homes recently listed by tech executives, the five-bedroom house has a grand interior with decorative pillars, ornate fireplaces, archtop built-ins, skylights and floor-to-ceiling bay windows. The house also boasts a pool, pond, and a one-bedroom apartment above a three-car garage.
Connors purchased the property in 2005 for $4.5 million. Another notable owner was Guyon Knight, former vice president of corporate communications for the Washington Post.
The house is listed with Nancy Taylor Bubes of Washington Fine Properties.
Other AOL-related properties that saw action on the housing market this year include a McLean estate owned by Steve Case and purchased after being listed for nearly $50 million, as well as the late AOL co-founder James Kimsey's record-setting $63 million northern Virginia listing.
