Deal of the Week: Rustic Three-Bedroom in Tenleytown

For this installment of Deal of the Week, we find a rustic three-bedroom farmhouse in Tenleytown that is now solidly in “deal” territory after a recent price reduction. Built in 1875, the home has an open design and a large backyard that will likely make a good venue for barbeques or a great play area for children depending on the eventual buyer. The home is in need of some interior updates, but its location (close to the Red Line and the Tenleytown Whole Foods as well as some of the better public schools in DC) makes it seem like the sweat equity that the buyer will need to put in will pay off. The listing price dropped by $30K on June 1st, but we imagine that the seller will likely be willing to take a look at all offers. More details and photos below. For the full listing, click here.
