Million-dollar mainstays Spring Valley and Berkley are leading the pack with prices exceeding $2.1 million. Bloomingdale and Shepherd Park round out the bottom of the list, with prices just above $1 million. Other neighborhoods where seven-figure homes are the norm include Chevy Chase DC, Crestwood, Georgetown and Palisades.
The number of million-dollar neighborhoods in the city has dropped compared to last year, when a record 18 neighborhoods made the list. As the spring housing market gears up, it will be interesting to see if more areas are added to the list.
