Circulator Adds Route East of the River

DCist reports the unveiling of the DC Circulator’s newest route, which represents the upstart bus system’s foray east of the Anacostia River.
The route will start at the Potomac Avenue station in Hill East, go up Pennsylvania Avenue to 8th Street, take a left down Barracks Row, cross the 11th Street Bridge, continue down Good Hope Road to where it dead ends at Alabama Ave, then turn around on Denver Street and head back along the same path. (See the green line on the map below.)
The new route will begin service on October 3rd, according to DCist, and is the first of many more that are planned over the next decade.
