Case-Shiller Reports Largest Home Price Growth in 15 Years

On Tuesday, the Case-Shiller National Home Price NSA Index reported that in February, home prices rose by 12% year-over-year, the largest gain in 15 years. Year-over-year price growth was 11.1% in January.

For all 20 of the cities included in the index's composite analysis, price growth was above average, and 19 of the 20 cities had higher year-over-year price growth in February than in January.
The DC area saw an 11.1% year-over-year price increase in February.
