Line-compelling Call Your Mother Deli is working on a new location in Georgetown, UrbanTurf has learned.
Call Your Mother has filed plans with the Old Georgetown Board to bring a new standalone bagel shop to 3428 O Street NW (map) not far from Georgetown University. The project would renovate the ground floor of the existing property, outfitting it with new commercial kitchen equipment and a restored façade.

The new shop would retain the existing tin press ceiling in the building while replacing the light fixtures. It also appears that the shop would retain its bubblegum pink color and sidewalk seating. Studio 3877 is the design architect.
These plans come as the bagel outlet, which has its original location on Georgia Avenue in Park View, prepares to make its offerings available at the soon-to-be-restored historic Takoma Theatre.
