AOL might be a bit of a has been in the internet world these days, but its founders are making some noise in the DC area real estate world.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that the house owned by late AOL co-founder James V. Kimsey, who passed away in March 2016, built the 25,000 square-foot, six-bedroom home in 1999. Interesting features include four kitchens (at least one used for entertaining), a guest garage that can fit thirty cars, a wine room that doubles as a humidor and a massage room off the master suite.
Kimsey's estate isn't the only AOL home making luxury real estate headlines in the region. AOL co-founder Steve Case listed his home, dubbed Merrywood, last year for $49.5 million. The Wall Street Journal is now reporting that the Northern Virginia estate has found a buyer.
