Amazon Launches Free Grocery Delivery in the DC Area

Prime members, Amazon will now deliver your groceries for free.
Amazon announced on Tuesday that grocery delivery from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market will now be free for Amazon Prime members. Previously, Amazon charged a $14.99 monthly fee for delivery on top of the $119 a year Prime membership.
In most geographic areas, including the DC region, there will be a $35 minimum on orders to qualify for free delivery.
