The $150,000 Premium for Mount Pleasant
When this home went on the market in March, UrbanTurf predicted that it would go for above asking price. With a desirable Mount Pleasant location adjacent to Rock Creek Park and perks like two-car parking and a basement in-law suite, the semi-detached four-bedroom rowhouse ended up selling for $152,100 above the listing price. The home has an open main level with hardwood floors and an updated kitchen. The second level features a sitting room and a master bedroom with attached sunroom, and the loft-like third floor could double as a bedroom.

Capitol Hill Rowhouse Commands $67,000 Premium
Capitol Hill also garners a lot of attention from homebuyers, and this three-story Victorian rowhouse is no exception. Particularly interesting in this rowhouse is the loft-like main floor, with a sunken kitchen and dining area whose double-height ceiling also allows light into the overlooking living room. Other details, like the cast iron staircase leading to the entrance and leaded glass windows throughout the home, put this 2,655-square foot home $67,000 over the listing price.
