The Montrose
The Montrose, a luxury condo project in the former Henry and Anne Hurt Home in Georgetown, has been in the works for a few years and, now complete, there are images of the interior.
The development at 3050 R Street NW (map) consists of 15 two-story units — lower level condos span the basement and first floor of the former home, and the upper units are located on the second floor and former attic. Two homes come with a private elevator and each unit has two parking spaces.
The project developer is the Argos Group, which developed The Station and The Fire House on Capitol Hill. Urban Pace is handling sales and marketing.
The Montrose is the first in a trio of luxury condo projects that will go up in Georgetown in the coming years. 1055 High, an eight-unit development along the C&O Canal in Georgetown where units will range in price from $3 to $5 million, will start sales in January and deliver in late 2014. And, a team is currently in the early stages of turning the West Heating Plant into an 80-unit luxury project.
