A new condo development (that looks quite different than most other developments in the city) will be delivering its units next month just north of Dupont Circle. 1617 Swann Street is being transformed from a historical townhome (built in 1925) into seven individual condo units. We offer a brief overview of the units below, and we will be visiting next month to take a tour and get some photos.
Location: 1617 Swann Street (see map here)
Living Space: Of the seven units, five are still available for purchase. All of the condos have two-bedroom floorplans and range in size from 1,264 to 1,735 square feet. The units offer 12 to 16-foot ceilings, custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms, and all are pre-wired for internet, stereo and cable. Some of the units have floor-to-ceiling windows while others offer exposed brick walls, and oversized terraces.
Price Range: Units start at $599k and go up to $1.09 million for the penthouse.
Parking: Assigned parking is available at an additional cost. Street parking can be difficult to find in this area of DC.
