Upwards of 2,000 new residences will be built as part of the Walter Reed redevelopment, and UrbanTurf recently got a look at what some of the new condominiums will look like.
Plans were unveiled earlier this week at an ANC 4B meeting for Building O, a 90-100 unit condo development on the boards at The Parks at Walter Reed. The development, designed by Hickok Cole, will have creative retail on the ground level, as well as outdoor amenity space, a club room and a fitness center. There will be a shared parking garage between Buildings O, P and IJ. Hines Managing Director Amol Tripathi told UrbanTurf that construction could get started on the new building in fall 2020.

Ground recently broke on The Brooks, an 89-unit condo building, and The Vale, a 301-unit apartment building with 18,300 square feet of retail along Georgia Avenue.
