It has been a busy few days for new residential projects in Arlington.
On the heels of two new multifamily developments being proposed in the county, BCN Homes has filed plans for a new townhome community dubbed Waverly Ridge with 47 units along North Taylor Street and Cherry Hill Road (map).
"The unit height will range from approximately 37' to 52' with each unit being three-four stories with high-quality façades made of brick and lap siding," the filing stated. "Each unit will have two parking spaces contained within a garage located on the first floor. Additionally, 11 internal on-street parking spaces will be provided for visitors."
In addition to the new townhouses, the developer is planning a 9,500 square-foot public park, a new 5-foot bike lane on the north side of Cherry Hill Road and a 40-foot bus stopping area. KGD Architecture designed the proposed development.
