A good-sized new residential project is in the works for a section of DC that doesn't see the same volume of development that it used to.
Plans have been filed with DC's Historic Preservation Office (HPO) for a 39-unit development at the rowhouses located at 1322-1326 18th Street NW (map). The Dupont Circle development was designed by PGN Architects.

The new development will consist of studio and one-bedroom units, and an addition will be constructed off the rear of the existing buildings that will add two additional stories.
The 18th Street rowhouses were previously home to the Emerson Preparatory School, a private school that closed last year.
