A six-bedroom, 14,000 square-foot home in McLean hit the market on Friday for just south of $16 million, becoming one of the priciest homes currently for sale in the DC region.
On the market for the first time since it was built in 2010, the home is located in Langley Farms adjacent to the historic Hickory Hill mansion (map). Penny and Piper Yerks of Washington Fine Properties are the listing agents.

Some of the standout features of the house include a handcrafted mahogany and glass front door, a custom pattern ceiling in the dining room by artist David Wiggins, and a sunroom with antique brick throughout.
The northern Virginia estate also has many of the trappings expected for a home with this price tag, including meticulous landscaping, a wine cellar, a billiard room, and a fitness room. Outside, there is an infinity pool with a waterfall, a fire pit, a cabana, and a number of terraces and covered terraces. There is also a separate guest house with a garage.
