A large residential development is in the works for an office building near downtown Bethesda.
Perseus TDC has acquired the five-story, 65,000-square-foot office building at 4405 East-West Highway (map) and has plans to redevelop the site as a 10-story residential project with more than 300 apartments. Construction is expected to begin in 2024.

"We are just beginning the concept plan design for the new building," Adam Peters of Perseus told UrbanTurf. "We look forward to beginning the entitlement process in the coming months and engaging with the community and city government."
The new development adds to the very long list of new development on the boards in and around downtown Bethesda.
