70-Foot Development Will Wrap Around Bethesda Row

Plans have been posted for a new mixed-used development that will wrap around a portion of Bethesda Row.
Federal Realty posted the sketch plan for the 70-foot, 275,000 square-foot project at 7070 Arlington Road (map) on Wednesday in advance of a community meeting on February 22.

The Hickok Cole-designed development would consist of ground floor retail below apartments. The building will front Arlington Road and Bethesda Avenue and then wrap around behind the Apple Store and other businesses on Bethesda Row.
