Records for this Takoma Park Victorian date all the way back to 1882, but it was likely the grand scale of the home not its age that resulted in this being a very popular home for sale. The seven-bedroom listing recently received four offers and sold for a whopping $325,000 above its original asking price. The primary living room has a red brick fireplace and French doors that lead out to the wide, wraparound porch and yard beyond. The spacious kitchen near the back of the home stands out thanks to its central breakfast bar/island and open floor plan. The attic was converted into a family room, with skylights and uniquely angled walls.
